We've got 20 hrs ish of road time upcoming and I'd love to find something that we'll both enjoy. My son happened to catch some of The Butcher's Boy that I was listening to and really wanted to be allowed to listen to the whole thing, was very captivated by it – obviously not a great preteen choice but would love to find a few novels that I won't find lame/ boring that he will not be traumatized by. I'm into legal, cop, mystery, thriller type stuff, also food memoirs. Thanks!
