So, almost a year ago I read the famous Garcia Marquez book, which I really liked. I wish I had loved it, i felt the repetitivenes after a while, but still you can't not love the lyrical prose and vivid imagenes he conjures. I've find myself thinking about it quite a lot and I feel like i need to read an essay that puts in focus and reorders some of the themes, that frames the context in which he wrote it and things like that. Can anyone point me in a good direction? A simple piece from a critic or something that you've read online it's fine, i don't need to read a whole book about it, as long as it goes a bit in depth and it's not just a list of things that happened
