I’m a college student, so the majority of my ‘on’ time is spent reading and writing notes or reading textbooks. I’m also an avid reader, so the majority of my ‘off’ time is spent reading books.
I’ve recently noticed a slight decline in my eyesight that I think is probably related to the near constant reading I put my poor eyes through.

Is there any way to reduce the strain on my eyes without cutting back on reading in my free time?

I read on a kindle paperwhite and use fairly large font already. I’ve tried the 20/20/20 thing but I always get too engrossed in my books and forget.

    1. Take breaks where you look for distance, not close up. Every hour or so, you should be looking for distance for at least 10-15 minutes.

Source: seriously screwed up my eyes for over 30 years because I did not do this. Scolded by several medical professionals.
