My Girlfriend like Edgar Burroughs, Magic Realism and Dystopian stories. i like to read it sometimes but she really get excited when the environment is part of a story. so i plan to take her for vacations to another country and tell her some stories.

Check out “The Paper Menagerie” by Ken Liu. Its got some cool stories about nature and magic mixed together. Also “Bloodchild” by Octavia Butler if she likes creepy stuff. Both are pretty short collections so you can finish em in a night or two.
The Invention of Morel by Adolfo Bioy Casares would be cool to read on the beach!
