Currently reading Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch. I’m just getting back into reading and started with this since it’s lighthearted and reminds me of books I read in high school.
Something that gives Mamma Mia movie vibes but with more literature depth.
I’m looking for a book that’s less childish but has the same “cozy” vibe.
•Mystery-experiencing a new location, figuring out a mystery in the protagonist’s life
•Love-protagonist/main character finding love whether or not they planned on it
•Exploring/Traveling with new experiences.
Avoiding:
•Adult romance/smutty books
•Disturbing tragedy of injury or death (death without graphic detail is OK)
(First post so I’m open to questions)

The Love of My Life by Rosie Walsh checks all those boxes, I believe. I couldn’t put it down
I’d recommend Lost in Tokyo by Jenny Lynne. It has mystery, clean best-friends-to-lovers romance, and exploring/traveling around multiple locations in Japan.
