I am currently reading Henry V by Dan Jones and am loving it so far. My favorite thing to learn about when it comes to history are the figures who had an impact or have a great story, so biographies. People like Julius Caesar, Charlemagne, Napoleon etc. I really like Dan Jones’s style, but his other books (which I will eventually read) aren’t about any one particular person it seems, like Henry V is. If anyone has any recommendations for books similar to this one, preferably about a medieval figure or someone from antiquity, I’d love to hear it. Historical biographies in short are what I’m looking for.
