Hey everyone,
I’ve read some books that criticize queer theory, and while I found some of the arguments interesting, I’d like to explore the other side as well.
I’m looking for something that not only explains its key concepts but also directly engages with common criticisms. Ideally, it should be well-argued, accessible (but not overly simplified), and grounded in solid scholarship.
thanks in advance!

*Racial Castration* by David L. Eng and *View from the Bottom* by Nguyen Tan Hoang offer a gay Asian American perspective while also explaining key earlier ideas as their groundwork.
Do you mean Queer Theory specifically as an academic field of study?
