Hi all! This is sort of a big ask…
As the title says, my 74-year old (?) grandma desperately needs a hobby, and I think she would enjoy reading. Here’s where it gets difficult:
If the book is not right up her alley, it will sit on the shelf indefinitely. She does not like magic, witchcraft, or anything with fantasy or sexual elements due to her religion (yes, even the Chronicles of Narnia). She loves Little House on the Prairie and “whodunnit” shows on TV.
I would prefer to get her a few standalone books instead of thrusting her into a series she may never even start. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
