What’s a good book for a high school project?

I’m a senior in high school and need to start reading a book for my english project pretty soon. It’s not exactly a book report or an essay but I do need to analyze the figurative language in the book. We can pick any book, I’d prefer if it’s something that I could potentially write about on the AP test and something I already own(I have a lot of books and need help choosing). I haven’t read many classics and the ones I have read I’ve either hated(Frankenstein & Northanger Abbey) or simply found okay(The Alchemist & The Great Gatsby) but for the sake of length I’m only going to list the classics I own instead of every single book: Every Shakespeare work, Of Mice and Men, Crime and Punishment, The Idiot, Pride and Prejudice, Lolita, The Catcher in the Rye, Alice’s Adventure’s in Wonderland, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Little Women, and Farenheit 451. Pls feel free to suggest books that I didn’t list I have ya fantasies, romance, thrillers, mysteries, fantasy, litfics etc.
