Okay so my criteria:
– There has to be actual love there, I'm not interested if the people involved aren't in love or care deeply for the other.

It has to be messy and the mess can't solely be miscommunication. I mean for example: emotional cheating, actual cheating, mutually avoiding communication, intruding on the other's autonomy, basically anything you can think of etc etc.

I don't want a victim-abuser dynamic, they both have to be at fault to some degree

They don't necessarily need to be an official couple though they can be
