I've always wondered, are there any Italian books which are also famous outside of Italy? I was sure it would just be Divine Comedy or the name of the rose but recently I saw New York Times has ranked an Italian book as the best book of the century (My Brilland friend) and I was a bit shocked.
So now I'm curious to know whether there are other Italian books which are famous outside of Italy that I don't know about
