Just recently discovered/realized that I’m a fan of the thriller genre! But having a hard time navigating because I’m a bit sensitive.
Some examples I liked:
Dark Matter book
Gone Girl book
Severance (TV Show)
Jurassic Park (book)
Da Vinci Code book
An example that was too graphic and has made me hesitate to keep looking on my own without asking your advice first:
Sharp Objects (there was literally one scene described of photos that the main character found and I shut my phone and returned the book and months later I am still disturbed by it 🙈) very graphic sexual assault type description
Can anyone help!?
I also don’t really want something that’ll scare me from being able to sleep. Don’t wanna read about demons and stuff. Idk 🤷♀️

Maybe suspense is a better way to describe the genre?! I just tried “Locked Doors” by Barty Crouch and that was a no-go, apparently I’m getting more sensitive by the day 😅
