I'm a big fan of science fiction, with cyberpunk being my favorite genre, but it feels like gay or even bi male protagonists are extremely rare in the genre, and it feels almost impossible to find any in the cyberpunk and dystopian fields. I've read one or two romance novels with this but I'd like to see stories where the focus is less on the romance and more on the situations they're involved in. The best I could find were Doomware/Holohive by Nathan Kuzack and China Mountain Zhang by Maureen McHugh.
So tl;dr I'd like to read cyberpunk and dystopian fiction with a gay/bi male lead. I'd prefer staying away from YA but if that's all you have, I'll take what I can get.
