The Devil and the Dark Water by Stuart Turton. Historical mystery at sea. I love all of his books.

Hmmm. I’m going to recommend two, because I don’t know how quickly you read, so look at The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods, or James by Percival Everett. You might also love A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole for a hilarious romp! Have a lovely voyage!

Sea sick by iain rob wright. I’m not a big fan of zombie novels, but I love time loop novels. This is a “first day of zombie apocalypse” time loop that is set on a cruise ship.

Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. Love is definitely a major factor but it’s not romantic. If that makes sense. It’s Iliad adjacent.
