Books where character takes the fall for another character’s crime (eg Devotion of Suspect X, Clockers)

Please recommend books, particularly in the crime, thriller, mystery genres, that have a character who INTENTIONALLY takes the fall for another character's crime. Basically an "intentional wrongful conviction" where the one character spares the other for a noble reason. Examples that come to mind are Devotion of Suspect X (Kiego Higashino),where the teacher frames himself and goes to prison to spare the mother (and her daughter). Also, Clockers (Richard Price), where the older brother takes the fall and goes to jail for his younger brother's crime.
