I'm trying to find a sweet spot that I feel doesn't exist in the current market: I am not looking for unrealistic, extreme examples of these kinds of men, like American Psycho. I am also not considering novels about relationships that are also a little too wild off the mark, like Fates and Furies.
I hate to say it, but perhaps the closest example of the kind of guy I'm talking about and the relationships he gets into is the terribly written Fuccboi. I want to know about *that* kind of guy: egotistical, immature, promiscuous, and with absolutely horrible attitudes about women…and why he's like that, and how/if he changes.
I'd much prefer something written by a man.
I am also not a romance reader, so that is my one blind spot and where I figure there may be books with characters/relationships, but again, those would most likely be written by women.
