I’m very interested in learning about the history of race and how that became a social/cultural construct, but every book I seem to come across is either biased by the author and their personal experiences or specifically about one race vs another. I’m looking for something that is specifically about the sociology of race, its creation, and why society obsesses, for lack of a better word, about race.
