Hey squad,
I am an avid reader and longtime lurker. I primarily listen to audiobooks. I listen when I’m doing chores, driving, and especially when I’m actively dissociating on the treadmill.
In a moment of delusional and spiritual ambition, I recently signed up to run a marathon on a charity team. I’ve never run a marathon before and I’m terrified!
I’m looking for suggestions for a series or VERY long book that’s a compelling enough story to help me get through some long jogs. I just finished Dungeon Crawler Carl and I loved it!! I’ve also tackled and enjoyed the Game of Thrones series, Wheel of Time, Songs of Chaos, The Will of the Many, and Mistborn/Stormlight. Some of my fave authors are Stephen King, Haruki Murakami, and Sanderson. I love fantasy, mystery/thriller, and magical realism.
Please let me know your suggestions. Honestly my biggest fear is that I have already read everything you’ll suggest, so please feel free to be obscure about it! I have audible plus a bunch of library access, and I’m eager to explore everything! Thanks in advance!

I just finished The Company, Robert Littell’s epic novel of the CIA. Pretty great and 36+ hours of listening.
I would also recommend Lev Grossman’s The Magicians trilogy and The Bright Sword, if you’re looking for fantasy stuff. All are great!
