Late last year me and my now 6 year old son started listening to the Harry Potter series while driving. I was surprised at how much he actually understood, and how much he loved listening. We will sometimes sit in the driveway for 15 or 20 minutes after getting home if it's at an exciting part of the book. We are almost done with The Prisoner of Azkaban, and I'm not sure he is ready for the darker tone of later books. Do you all have any suggestions for books that aren't too scary, mostly happy, but still compelling and fun that we could pick up?
    Thanks!

    1. My 8yo has been into audiobooks for several years so I have a bunch of recs! Make sure you get the Libby app if you don’t already have it, you can check out audiobooks for free through your local library. Some library systems use Hoopla. Both are great in addition to Audible or whatever audiobook platform you use.
