I don't know if thats the correct term. I loved Little Women and had no problem reading through it. However, books such as Pride and Persuasion are hard for me to grasp whats going on. Are there any easier classical rwads? Don't mind the genre. Thank you!

Ones that people may have read in school are usually easier to grasp. Animal Farm, the Great Gatsby, Fahrenheit 451, Frankenstein, Of Mice and Men, To Kill A Mockingbird, and the likes would be great places to start.

Jane Eyre is another classic that’s easy to read, and honestly it’s kind of a wild ride.

I usually recommend Daphne Du Maurier, her writing style is concise and engaging (it helps that she generally leaned towards the tense and macabre side of things). “Rebecca” is usually a good place to start, but I really enjoyed “Jamaica Inn” and “The Scapegoat” too.

LM Montgomery is another great author, especially if you like beautiful descriptions of the Canadian landscape. I think “A Tangled Web” is one of the funniest books I’ve ever read

In a similar vein to Montgomery, “Lark Rise to Candleford” is a very charming book about the twilight years of old English rural life.
