I like to listen to podcasts before bed and I’m an avid book reader but wanted to get into listening to audiobooks. I was wondering if y’all have suggestions for audiobooks that were narrated so well that you highly highly recommend!

Will Wheaton is one of my current favourite narrators. The man has a voice for sarcasm and uses it to great effect in the books he voiced. Also, I found it funny that he voiced Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. Because Will Wheaton is mentioned in the book. So you have Will Wheaton recording a book which includes Will Wheaton as a character.

    2. I depends on the genre. If you like fantasy Stephen Pacey is the best in the business by a wide margin for narrators!

L.G. Estrella’s Unconventional Heros Series both narrators put in a lot of effort to make it sound like you were listening to a radio play rather than just someone reading a book to you. They did voices for all the characters and put life into their performances.

Fred Berman narrated the 2 necromancers series and Joel Froomkin did Attempted Vampirism.

The 2 Necromancers series. 2 Necromancers try to earn a pardon for past crimes by doing odd jobs for a kingdom. Strong found family vibe. The first 2 books on audible were bundled under the title of the second book 2 Necromancers, A Bureaucrate, and an Army of Golems.

Attempted Vampirism Series. A vampire noble has his castle repossessed for back taxes. He becomes an adventurer to try and earn money to buy it back. The first 2 books were bundled on Audible under the title of the first book Attempted Vampirism.
