I’ve read history books and biography never thought I’d see myself getting into historical fiction
I’ve been reading Pirate Latitudes by Michael Crichton and I’m loving it as face paced as it is.
I think I’d like stories about characters living through a period rather than a fictitious account of a historical figure
Like if the story is set in Classical Athens, the character might have an interaction with Socrates or Kleon
Someone living during the French Revolution might be having conversations in Olympe de Gouge’s Salon or maybe they are inspired by the members of the Jacobins
Are there any good books you guys could recommend me?
Especially those taking place In Antiquity or the Middle Ages.
But any time period I’m welcome to.
