Hi! I’m looking for a book (standalone or part of a series) that’s either fantasy or sci-fi, with a lot of tension, interesting character dynamics and strong worldbuilding. Romance is welcome as a subplot but I’d prefer it not to be the focal point. I’ve previously read and enjoyed Jade City/Green Bone Saga, Six of Crows, The Poppy War, Project Hail Mary, and have my eyes on the Sword of Kaigen.
