I've never really been to into reading but I have listened to/read all of the Dan Brown books ages ago and enjoyed them all. I really liked the fast paced action and short chapters (I'm not a fan of stopping a reading session in the middle of a 20-30 page chapter but it's not a deal breaker).
Years later I read, and liked, the first three Hunger Games books after picking up the first one as something to do during a flight.
Until a month or so ago it had been at least 10 years since I picked up a book and what's listed above is all I have read since finishing school ~20 years ago. Christmas of 2023 one of my cousins was talking to me about how good Mr. Mercedes was so I decided to give it a try. I bought it and it sat on my dresser for a year untouched. Just over a month ago I finally picked it up and finished it in 4 days. Since then I have finished the Bill Hodge trilogy and just finished Billy Summers. While I liked the trilogy overall, I didn't care for the addition of telekinesis and telepathy in End of Watch.
Based on what's mentioned above, what would be some good recommendations? Feel free to suggest something that may not fit in with what's above but I will note that I'm not really interested in sci-fi, fantasy, or supernatural abilities. I'm looking for something that's more realistic but I'm open to stretching that a little (11/22/63 is on my list even though I don't care for the time travel aspect).

Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson
If you liked Hunger Games, the author has released a few new prequel books since then. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes shows the origin of the Hunger Games following a young President Snow, and Sunrise on the Reaping (which just came out this month) follows a younger Haymitch in his own original Hunger Games.
