I started Witchcraft for wayward girls by Grady Hendrix but the way he utilized Black women characters made me uncomfortable (after looking it up, it appears that's a theme others have seen in his books as well). Others have said it better than I could but those reviews can be found easily by googling. So many directions he could have easily taken the story without leaning into tropes/only giving the white characters full development.
That said, I loved the campy witch vibes. Does anyone have any suggestions for something similar?
