Safe books that confirm you? I don’t know, then for sure, you don’t need to read at all.

About anything in particular? Church history? Patristics? Comparative theology? Self help? Novels?

The Circle Trilogy by Ted Decker is a fun Christian thriller/suspense.
Dee Henderson’s O’Malley series is Christian romantic suspense (more aimed at women, but my brother loves them too).
Raising Dragons by Bryan Davis is a YA top-notch Christian fantasy series (if you’re okay with magic). The characters age through his different series, so some of the later books are more geared towards adults.
The Black Prism series by Brent Weeks is mainstream adult fantasy, but with strong Christian themes woven throughout in a beautiful way.
Nonfiction-wise, as afore been mentioned, anything by CS Lewis. John Piper (author of Desiring God, Don’t Waste Your Life, and others) is fantastic. If hardcore philosophy is your jam, like ontology and stuff, I recommend Alvin Plantinga as an author.
There are so many more genres out there that I haven’t even touched, but hope that gives you some idea of possibilities.
