Hello! I’m looking for a book that’s a pretty easy read, something that you can just enjoy and don’t have to think deeply about some abstract concept or overarching intense theme. Just a good, enjoyable, easy to read book
If you like romance: the ‘Bridgerton’ series by Julia Quinn
If you want to cry: ‘The fault in our stars’ by John Green
If you want both: ‘The Longest Ride’ by Nicholas Sparks (the movie based on this book is also really good)

Where’d you go Bernadette by Maria Semple is one of my favorites for this. Very compelling, you want to find out what happened to Bernadette, emotional but still light-hearted. You know the whole time that everything is going to be okay. The tone of the book is wonderful. It’s got the right mix of humor and sentimentality. Super easy read.
