There Bit of book i read at a bookstore that I read as child and freaked me out I don’t remember a ton but I’d but amazed if someone did.

All I remember is it seemed to be about a girl who was kidnapped and I remember a scene where she was at the end of a hallway or something and one of her kidnappers was approaching her with a large knife in a goofy knife. I’m talking this could’ve been 20 plus years ago but I swear it’s true. Ring any bells?
