Hi All! This may be a really weird and/or basic question lol, but I figured this would be a good place to ask.
I've been struggling to get back into reading books for a long time, for various reasons. But I just went down a Sherlock tv series rabbit hole, and ended up reading an article apparently written by Benedict Cumberbatch in 2012. (I will post the link in a comment.)
I loved the article! For the first time in a while, I felt drawn in and compelled to keep reading a piece that was somewhat long, and I would like to replicate the experience in book form.
Can anyone recommend any books which read similarly? I think the article could be described as lush (purple-prosey?) but still somewhat fast-paced, with bits of humor.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: Both fiction and non-fiction will work!
