I need an average book.

I am an aspiring writer, and a problem that I am running into is that I enjoy ambitious works and wish to emulate them. (Infinite Jest, A Song of Ice and Fire, etc.) My issue is that I have never written a novel before, and with those as my inspirations it can make writing a novel borderline impossible.

I have read craft guides (Save the Cat!, On Writing) but I feel like I need a simple, average novel in which I can study and break down the techniques used in creating it.

I would prefer it not to be too short or too long, and preferably for adults/older teens. Something you would find at a Walmart. Like 300-400 pages.
