Hi All 🙂 I would like to study to be a special needs educator. Could you please suggest me books to read before and while I'm learning about this topic? If my application goes through, I can start getting my degree this September. There are several specializations (educator to intellectual or physical disabilities, visual or hearing impairment, speech therapy, autism, learning difficulties), but I am not sure yet in which direction I'll study. For sure, I'd like to get into equine therapy later on.
I'd love to get suggestions on special needs children, adults, equine therapy, parenting books to special needs children or teaching books in general, maybe homeschooling ones? Whatever fits this topic.
