Looking for a book similar to the films "Harold & Maude" and "Lost in Translation". Unconventional romance with an age gap but low to no spice. I've already read Colin Higgins' book adaptation of "Harold & Maude". Also read "A Man Called Ove" and "Strange Weather in Tokyo" and neither really scratched the itch for me. What do you recommend, friends?

The guy who wrote Harold and Maude as a screenplay used that as the starting point for making it into a novel. I just bought it a few weeks ago to read but haven’t done so yet. It might be fun to try out!
