I’m freshly out of a long-term relationship and on my own for the first time as an adult (27F). It’s been overwhelming – I have attachment issues, self-confidence struggles, and plenty of unresolved trauma that I know I need to work through. Right now, I’m trying to focus on healing, learning to be alone, and actually being okay with it.

I know there are a million self-help books out there, but I’m looking for the ones that truly made a difference for you. What books helped you heal, gain confidence, or become more comfortable with yourself? I’d love to hear any recommendations or personal experiences.

    Thanks in advance!

My Year With Eleanor. It’s more memoir than self help but I think it’s so helpful for perspective. I reread it every year.
