Hey, all. My submission was removed from r/books for not having enough karma, and I'm in need of some immediate suggestions. I'm doing a research paper for college. I wouldn't know where to start looking and google keeps giving me the wrong results. I don't know how to specify without sounding like a psychopath lol, so I'm turning to reddit. Basically, I need books with harmful or bad themes/lessons. I need these to prove a point that one bad instance of something doesn't represent the medium as a whole. Please don't recommend me anything that is violent or repulsive for the sake of being violent or repulsive, that's not the point. I need books that really believe in their themes, despite them being objectively harmful or bad, to highlight the point that a single bad instance of something doesn't represent the entire medium. Thank you!
