Hello everyone. I'd love a recommendation to help me pursue my escapist tendencies.
I'm partial to fantasy and love the discworld series, and a whole host of other magical, mystical places.
But I'm not limited to fantasy. I recently read a gentleman in Moscow and the Thursday Murder club and enjoyed them thoroughly.
Could you please recommend something that I could curl up on the couch on a rainy afternoon with a hot cuppa with?
Thank you. And set up community libraries if you don't have one! 🙂

Moomintroll books by Tove Jannson are very cozy. I always recommend the Nero Wolfe mysteries by Rex Stout. They’re hard to put down. Robert Asprin writes some good fantasy books that are fast reads.
I really enjoyed Dreadful by Caitlin Rozakis. It’s a standalone comedic fantasy about a dark lord who gets amnesia and has to pretend to be himself, and it gave me some Discworld vibes while reading it.
