Hello everyone! So I used to read random books back in university. But since life started, had to go through a lot of stuff and I lost interest in most of the things that i loved to do. I want to get back into them. I miss reading. I don't exactly know what genre I like the most. I'd just read what would catch my eye at the university library.
I recently got a kindle and I'm excited to read again but I dont know where to start.
The book I absolutely love to this day is "the ocean at the end of the lane" by Neil Gaiman.
Any suggestions? I don't mind different genres just not complex sci-fi 😅 my husband makes me watch so many movies of that category.
Thank you!

I have liked everything I have read by Gaiman, so maybe read more of him? I love his writing!
Philip Pullman’s The Golden Compass series is good but I found it very nihilistic at the end.
# Diana Wynne Jones’ Howl’s Moving Castle series was a surprisingly fun read.
Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time trilogy is one of my all-time favorites.
These are a few books that came to mind that I think someone who loves The Ocean at the End of the Lane might like:
The House in the Cerulean Sea
Klara and the Sun
The Practical Magic series
Nothing to See Here
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
