Looking for a book that keeps me engaged and gets me back into reading

Nothing too ghoul or gruesome, but something that has twists and turns and is kinda wholesome. No romance though!! I read this book called Pretty bad things by C.j. Skuse as a child and i couldn’t get out of bed. Wanna feel the same way about a new book!!
