Issac Asimov’s Treasury of Humor helped me, although copying the delivery of famous comedians helped more.

Read the memoirs of stand up comedians or funny people you like. My favorite is Craig Ferguson’s. He’s not just a comedian but a darn good author too.

I find that if I read a book from an author whose sense of humor I admire, I can then more easily/naturally WRITE more humorously. (Am I copying their senses of humor? Yes indeed.)
That being said, everyone has their own favorite type of humor. My favorite type of humor comes through wonderfully in these authors: Douglas Adams; Allie Brosh; Bill Bryson; Edward Abbey; Garrison Keillor (I know, I know).
