I want a book that is like the show Killing Eve!

I loved 7 husbands of Evelyn Hugo because it wasn’t just straight romance I liked the wlw aspect. I also loved that it put me in a whole different world.
I loved Billy Summers because of the crime mixed with fiction, it kept me interested and was just dark enough.
I loved the TV show killing eve for the characters and the wlw aspect but it wasn’t the whole show. It was also a little dark which I liked.
I also liked the hunger games, for the female lead and the dystopia of it.
I think I’m looking for something that isn’t straight people romance, but also isn’t dragons or fairies. I want to get attached to the characters and completely enthralled in their lives. I don’t do well with books that go slow, I lose interest. Please help me out!
