Hi All! I recently finished The Silent Patient… yes, I’m a little late to the game. Unfortunately, I found the book lacking. It just left me craving a MUCH better ending. Also… was the author really a therapist in real life…?
Since I’m not interested in reading another one of Alex’s books, and I’m burned out on Dean Koontz, I’m looking forward new recommendations!
Are there any books you’ve read within the past couple of years that have:
1) Great plot
2) Good character development and depth
3) Unexpected ending… one that has a decent amount of buildup. I’m not just looking for a bait and switch.
