I thoroughly enjoyed reading Home Before Dark by him. It was a popcorn thriller that kept me entertained. I immediately picked up The Only One Left, but I soon realized that the vibes felt too similar to Home Before Dark. I had read Home Before Dark not long ago at that point, which made it difficult for me to fully immerse myself in The Only One Left. I found myself constantly comparing the two books, which hindered my reading experience. As a result, I ended up DNFing it. However, I would consider revisiting it in the future.
Recently, I picked up Middle of the Night, but it was so repetitive and boring that I couldn’t finish it.
Now, I’m contemplating whether I should pick up Lock Every Door.
I’m seeking suggestions on whether I should read it. Is it worth the time and effort? Does it provide a good reading experience?
