      L.G. Estrella’s Unconventional Heros Series

The 2 Necromancers series. 2 Necromancers try to earn a pardon for past crimes by doing odd jobs for a kingdom. Strong found family vibe. The first book in the series is 2 Necromancers, A Bureaucrate, and an Elf.

Attempted Vampirism Series. A vampire noble has his castle repossessed for back taxes. He becomes an adventurer to try and earn money to buy it back.

The 13th Paladin series by Torsten Weitze. The 13th Paladin of the Gods has been sent to fight the dark god “He Who Forces”. The first book in the series is Ahren.

The Traveler’s Gate Trilogy by Will Wight. Magic is used by calling energy and creatures from other worlds called territories. People who can draw from their territories are called travelers. The first book in the series is House of Blades.

Mogworld by Yahtzee Croshaw. Main character is undead. Hijinks ensue.

Get lost on Mid-World with Stephen King’s epic *The Dark Tower* series.

Unconventional suggestion, but *Dungeon Crawler Carl*. Join the gang as they descend through the dungeon. Each floor is its own unique “land”. It’s a series like nothing I’ve read before. Bonus pleasure will be had if you do the audiobook—the narration is unbelievable. Might ruin all audiobooks going forward.

These two series are amongst an incredibly tiny list of books I’ve read more than once.

    4. Robin Hobb’s Farseer Trilogy (and if you like those, the rest of her Realm of the Elderlings series).

    5. Fantasties: George Macdonald
The Lord Of The Rings: JRR Tolkien
      The Buried Giant: Kazuo Ishiguro
The First Law Trilogy: Joe Abercrombie
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell: Susanna Clarke
      Shōgun: James Clavell
      Dolmenwood Campaign Book: Gavin Norman
