The few detective novels I've found that do have a male POV are either fairly outdated, and/or have the character be divorced, in his late 40s, or just read like an action movie. The YA novels are just missing the depth of characters.
If anyone has any recommendations for a suspense/mystery/thriller that is:
– Male POV, at least 60% if dual POV
– The main character is younger than 40
– Not romantic suspense, can have a romantic subplot but not as a B-plot even.
– Published around 2010 or later

I liked the Steinbeck and Reed duology by Jess Lourey, Head Cases by John McMahon, anything by MW Craven, Cyrus Haven by Michael Robotham, Stuart MacBride's various serie, and more that I'm probably forgetting.
Harry Bosch series is kind of the vibe I'm looking for but more modern and a bit younger.
