One of my reading goals this year is to read more books that aren't originally in English to expand my horizons. I'd love to hear your suggestions!
I've read the usual suspects in Russian literature – Dosteyevski (probably my favorite classic author), Tolstoy, Gogol. I've also read many other classics like the Tale of Genji, 100 Years of Solitude, The Posthumous Memoirs of Bras Cubas, The Iliad & Odyssey, all of Dumas. Plus a handful of modern sci Fi/fantasy, includig the Witcher books and the Three Body Problem. I've read more that's translated, but those are probably the most popular/most likely to come up. My favorite genres are sci fi and fantasy, but I'm open to most any genre.
