This year I read "Why We Sleep" by Matthew Walker and "Breath" by James Nestor, two books I highly recommend that have fundamentally changed my understanding of the pillars of health to include not just diet and exercise but also strong focus on good sleep and breathing. I'm looking for more!

Any suggestions on books that bring brain, body, and mind health research or cultural practices forgotten by the West to the general public, but beyond the mounds of books on diet and exercise? Maybe anything a bit more off the beaten path? Importance of socializing and hobbies and mental challenges for brain health for example, or some body health things that most people wouldn't think of (like breathing!).
