I’ve been contemplating reading The Hunger Games for the past month, but I’m hesitant. I’ve watched all the movies twice, and I’m worried that if I read the book, I won’t be surprised by the plot or the way the story unfolds. Should I give it a try? Have anyone read the book after watching the movies? What did you think of the series? Did you enjoy it?

I haven’t read all the books, yet 99% of the time the book is better than the film – or at least has more detail which may add to your understanding and or enjoyment of the story. There’s also various discrepancies which you’ll have to decide were better portrayed in the book or on screen. You can enjoy both for their own reasons.
You definitely should! They’re super easy to read first and then they bring up much more information. The characters intrications are deeper and also it’s always a nice way to keep on lingering in a story’s universe
The books are SO much better and deeper than the films.
