I read the harry potter series when i was 8 and completely fell in love with it and reading as an activity itself. However, i found harry potter so well written and interesting that i just cant seem to love another book or a book seires the way i loved harry potter when i first read it. Im 17 now and have read many books since but none of them made me jump in the world of the book like harry potter did…None of them make me experience the book the way that harry potter did. I can enjoy the book, but i can feel it leaving a lasting impression on me. Re-reading harry potter again now, lol.
Please suggest some books to me

Try the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman:
The Golden Compass
The Subtle Knife
The Amber Spyglass
I enjoyed “His Dark Materials” by Philip Pullman more than “Harry Potter.”
If that series doesn’t do it for you, then I recommend reading both Tamora Pierce and Rick Riordan.
