Rosalind Franklin's story has become a bit too famous whenever the topic of stolen credit comes up. I have heard her name come up constantly growing up, about how she deserves as much (if not more) credit than Watson and Crick. But I didn't know any details beyond that until recently, when I decided to read two different books about her life, and absolutely loved them and can't stop thinking about them

(For anyone who cares, I read Rosalind Franklin and DNA, by Anne Sayre. and My Sister Rosalind Franklin, by Jenifer Glynn)

I'm looking for books recs about other similar stories. I know of a few other names who had credit for their work stolen, like Nettie Stevens and Chien-Shiung Wu. I want to read about their life and work in more detail, so I am grateful for any biographies or even any books that dive into why this phenomenon happens. Thank you

    1. Not science, but a man took credit for her major accomplishments. This was a very interesting read.

*Breaking Free: My Life in Science* by Katalin Kariko. It’s just infuriating how she was jerked around by the men in her field.
