As the title states, im looking for good gay romances with a tragic plot with more adult/mature themes (not specifically excplicit scenes but that would be great too) and focus specifically on the main couple's relationship (like the romance isnt a subplot or whatever) :P. something like brokeback mountain and the song of achilles, with yearning and longing if that makes sense.
I'm also looking forward to reading Hyacinthus and the sun's favorite perennial, both greek mythology retelling the same tragic myth of apollo and hyacinthus, so if you know any similar books PLEASE suggest them to me !! bonus points if it's based off greek mythology
p.s. no cmbyn or tbdate please ^^ ty booksuggestions
