What’s a book you read this year that’s still lingering in your mind?
My favorite book is “The Power of Positive Thinking”
The precursor to The Secret, The Power of Positive Thinking has helped millions of men and women to achieve fulfillment in their lives. The book also shows the power of education.
I read The Shards by Bret Easton Ellis the first weeks in January and didn’t expect it to remain one of the most prominent books of the year, mostly I saw it as a fun outlandish escape to the decadent 80s of my own teen years and youth. But by far I think it’s his masterpiece and the book he’s been trying to write from the start. It seems to have hit the nerve of other older Gay men too, but not much traction elsewhere. I hoping it pops up on some best of year lists.
